HRT targeting race finishes in Australia

FIA shuts diffuser loophole

Discussions between the FIA and four teams – understood to be Force India, McLaren, Mercedes and Renault – took place in Bahrain about the size of starter motor holes in their diffusers which were believed to be too wide. Red Bull to stage F1 demo in Belfast this weekend

[SinglePic not found]Formula One power will come to Northern Ireland this Saturday when Red Bull take to the streets of Belfast. The team’s former racer David Coulthard will be at the wheel for the evening demonstration run in front of the iconic City Hall.

Coulthard’s mission say Red Bull is to show the public what modern F1 machines are made of and the Scot is expected to reach up to 190mph as he displays his car’s speed, power and control on Belfast’s roads. Read the rest of this entry »

Monza extends F1 deal until 2016

Branson: ‘Virgin can overhaul Red Bull’

Schumacher in no rush to join GPDA

[SinglePic not found]Michael Schumacher has yet to rejoin the Grand Prix Drivers’ Association (GPDA) on his return to Formula One.

The GPDA is the equivalent to a drivers’ union and has worked to improve safety in the sport in the past. Schumacher is one of the only drivers not to join the organisation this year but his manager said he backed its work. Read the rest of this entry »

No rule changes in 2010 Ecclestone admits

[SinglePic not found]Bernie Ecclestone has admitted Formula One must for now live with its current set of rules. After the processional Bahrain grand prix, there has been widespread criticism of the current rulebook and calls for immediate changes.

Red Bull ‘have potential to dominate’ – Horner

[SinglePic not found]Red Bull’s Christian Horner admitted the mechanical failure which cost Sebastian Vettel a likely win at the Bahrain Grand Prix was “very frustrating” but said overall he was happy that the cars had “fantastic pace”.

Speaking to Formula1.com, Horner said Red Bull “have the potential to dominate, whereas many others departed Sakhir knowing they have more than just a missing tenth or two to find ahead of Australia”. Read the rest of this entry »

Press slam ‘Bore-rain GP’
