Schumacher in no rush to join GPDA

[SinglePic not found]Michael Schumacher has yet to rejoin the Grand Prix Drivers’ Association (GPDA) on his return to Formula One.

De la Rosa plays down tyre performance reports

[SinglePic not found]Sauber driver Pedro de la Rosa has played down reports that his team may have a tyre advantage over its rivals in Bahrain for the opening race of the Formula One season.

A Bridgestone official said earlier this week that the Sauber has proved better than all its rivals in terms of looking after its tyres on long runs, which could prove a significant strategic advantage in relation to the new ban in race refuelling. Read the rest of this entry »

BMW Sauber C29 unveiled in Valencia

BMW Sauber became the third team to reveal their 2010 car on Sunday as the wraps came of the C29 at the Valencia circuit in Spain, where pre-season testing gets underway on Monday.
Drivers Pedro de la Rosa and Kamui Kobayashi were on hand to unveil the Ferrari-powered machine, with the team back under the leadership of founder Peter Sauber following the departure of BMW.

Sauber pins faith in Pedro de la Rosa

Sauber has confirmed Pedro de la Rosa will be its second driver for the 2010 season. Kamui Kobayashi was confirmed as its first driver in December and the Japanese has been joined at the team by the 38-year-old Spaniard who was previously McLaren’s test driver.

Pedro de la Rosa will be confirmed at Sauber as Kamui Kobayashi’s team-mate for 2010, according to reports.
