Heidfeld: New Red Bull’s pace is ‘frightening’
[SinglePic not found]As an observer from the sidelines for the first time in a decade, Nick Heidfeld has named Red Bull Racing as the overwhelming favourite to set the pace in the curtain-raising F1 2010 Bahrain Grand Prix at Sakhir on Sunday – Red Bull Racing.
Without a seat on the grid this year – after parting company with BMW-Sauber and being overlooked by McLaren-Mercedes and Mercedes Grand Prix despite in-depth discussions with both – Heidfeld subsequently signed up for the latter to act as test and reserve driver, in the hope of re-launching his active career in the top flight in twelve months time. Webber: “I’m not losing any sleep over Vettel”

Mark Webber has insisted that he is not losing any sleep over the challenge he is likely to face from team-mate Sebastian Vettel during the F1 2010 World Championship campaign, arguing that there are ‘a lot of quick drivers out there and some pretty good teams’ – but acknowledging that continuity is a real feather in Red Bull Racing’s cap.

Red Bull launches RB6
[SinglePic not found]Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel have launched Red Bull’s new RB6 at Jerez ahead of its first test session.
The new car, which appears to be an evolution of the 2009 challenger, features the double diffuser and the ’shark fin’ engine cover as adopted by many other teams for 2010.
Red Bull, which decided to sit out the first pre-season test in Valencia last week, will make its track debut at Jerez on Wednesday morning with Webber at the wheel. Read the rest of this entry »
